Are CMEescape CME credits ACCME accredited?Yes. All programmes are delivered by Oakstone CME, an ACCME-accredited provider with over 50 years of history. Credits are AMA PRA Category 1. Can my employer reimburse the CME fee?The CME fee paid to Oakstone is separate from your CMEescape travel charges, which makes CME reimbursement easier for employers to process as a continuing education expense. Do I have to enroll in CME to book a CMEescape trip? No. CME enrollment is completely optional. You can book CMEescape travel as a pure vacation. However, if you need CME credits, we make it easy by connecting you to Oakstone’s 30+ specialty catalog, providing study-friendly accommodations and suggested modules, and handling expense documentation after your trip. Travel booking and CME enrollment are always separate transactions. Do I need to be a US physician?CMEescape is designed for US-licensed physicians. International physicians are welcome for the travel component but CME credits are issued under AMA guidelines. How far in advance should I book?We recommend 60–90 days for most journeys. The Maharajas’ Express and Palace on Wheels require 120+ days due to limited cabin availability. How are CME sessions structured on the journey? All CME sessions are scheduled in the mornings (typically 7:30-10:30am) before daily excursions begin. Sessions never overlap with leisure activities, in compliance with ACCME Standard 3.11. A post-test and evaluation must be completed to claim credits. Certificates are issued by Oakstone CME within one week. Is the CME component independent of the travel?Yes, completely. Educational content, faculty selection, and curriculum are controlled solely by Oakstone CME, independent of EbixTravel and CMEescape. This meets ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence. The CME fee is invoiced separately by Oakstone CME, not bundled with travel.
